These Terms govern your use of SplitPea (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
SplitPea shows estimated grocery prices gathered from public store sources and helps you split a basket across stores for the lowest total. Prices are estimates and may be out of date, incomplete, or differ from the register. Always verify prices at the store. SplitPea is a comparison tool; we do not sell groceries or process grocery payments.
We never accept payment to change a price comparison, alter the "lowest total," or influence which store we recommend. Any advertising or funded offer is shown as such and, where a funded discount lowers a real price, it is shown itemized. The verdict is not for sale.
Don't misuse the Service — no scraping or bulk extraction of our data, no reverse engineering, no interfering with operation or security, no unlawful use, and no attempts to access data that isn't yours.
When you upload a receipt or create lists, you grant us permission to process that content to provide and improve the Service and to produce aggregated, de-identified insights, as described in the Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of your content.
Links and handoffs to retailers (H-E-B, Walmart, United/Market Street, and others) are for your convenience. Those retailers have their own terms and prices; we are not responsible for their sites, availability, prices, or fulfillment.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, including accuracy of prices or savings. We do not guarantee that any predicted price or savings will match your actual purchase.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SplitPea and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us (if anything) to use the Service.
We may change or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new version date; continued use means acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
